My name is Sydney Bridgeforth, I am 24 years old. I am currently a dancer for the Memphis Grizzlies. (Grizz Girl) I am a Booker T. Washington High School alumnus of the Performing and Visual Arts class 2019. I attended New York University and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in the Tisch dance program and a minor in Child and Adolescent mental health. I have equally trained in concert and commercial dancing. I have been dancing since the age of 2. I have trained at Kim’s Academy of Dance, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Beyond Belief Dance Company, Booker T., New York University, and other popular dance intensives worldwide. I have taught at many studios, some including, Beyond Belief Dance Company, Avante Garde Dance Theatre, Sandi’s School of Dance, and many others. I have been fortunate to perform at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. I have participated in multiple music videos varying from small artists to promoting Anastasia Beverly Hills makeup brand. I was accepted into many company training programs and was featured on the Netflix Series Dancing Queen. In my free time from training, I give back my knowledge and teach the younger generation of new and upcoming dancers.
